“HOME” (2020-2022) is a photographic survey of Shanghai real estate, created through the detached persona of a real estate agent.

The project unintentionally functions as a critical archive, documenting the city’s complex social stratification at a precise pre-pandemic threshold.  This series is foundational to my practice, launching my inquiry into the semiotics of domestic space and its power to inscribe the interplay of class, precarity, and desire.
